Obtaining the Identification Number
Foreign nationals who intend to engage in activities in Ukraine should have a registration card of a physical person-taxpayer or in other words – an identification number.
The identification number shall be issued by the State Tax Administration. It is drawn in the form of certificate.
An Identification Number is necessary for foreigners in following situations:
- If a foreign citizen is registered as a business entity in Ukraine.
- If the foreign citizen is a founder of a legal entity in Ukraine.
- If the foreign citizen has facilities provided by law and shall pay taxes and other mandatory payments.
- As well as other activities, such as opening a bank account, insurance processing, credit card processing, etc.
Documents Required to Obtain an Identification Number:

Notarized power of attorney on behalf of the foreign citizen in the name of an employee of our company.

Copy of the international passport with Ukrainian translation attested with the seal of the Translation Agency.
